Greetings. I’m Dina Taghavi. I’m a pigmentation artist and permanent makeup expert. I want to thank you all for following my tutorials here on Rojelab.net. I’ve received many questions and here I’ve chosen the most frequent of them to answer during this video.

Many of you have asked eyebrow hachure is better or eyebrow shadow. To answer this question, we should remember that both these methods have their own effect and beauty. An eyebrow shadow will cover all the empty spaces of the eyebrow in a unified.
Format and will look like a colored halo between your eyebrow hairs. An eyebrow hachure is implemented based on the natural growth direction and grain of the eyebrow hair strands. This can differ based on the request of the client and what they want the result to look like. It’s very hard to say which one of these methods are better. They are both beautiful and it depends on you and your pigmentation artist to choose the correct style for your eyebrows. I also want to add that eyebrow shadow and hachure, be in Sombre, Ombre, or powder, are both applicable to people with natural eyebrows, or those who have old tattoos.

Another question I’m often asked is whether it’s possible to cover only parts of the eyebrow using hachure or shadowing if a woman has an empty area on the crown or the arch of the eyebrow. The answer to this question is yes given that there is enough volume left on the eyebrows to enable us to only cover that part of the eyebrow using micro-pigmentation. Most of the people coming to us have very sparse and thin eyebrows and covering only a part of the eyebrow in these cases won’t give you an acceptable result. For these clients, we should implement a unified micro-pigmentation process across the eyebrows.

Some of the viewers had asked if it was possible to perform micro-pigmentation procedures on eyebrows with old tattoos, which have changed colors. In these cases, you should pay attention that some eyebrow tattoos change color in a unified format but some other eyebrow tattoos change into more than one color like red and gray at the same time. In these cases, we consult with the client and most likely, we will recommend a tattoo removal process.

Another question was which of the two processes of micro-blading and micro-pigmentation is better. Micro-pigmentation is applied using an electronic hand piece. The pigmentation artist chooses the depth of the injection and cartridge. Micro-blading is applied using a special handheld device with a specific type of blade on the tip. Micro-pigmentation can last much longer than micro-blading. Micro-pigmentation is not limited by skin color and type, and can even be applied on top of previous tattoos. Micro-blading has some limitations. For example, it’s very limited when it comes to tattooing light colors on oily skin and it will last a lot shorter than micro-pigmentation. A micro-blading process must be restored at most after six to eight months. On the other hand, micro-pigmentation restoration depends solely on the client’s desire. Micro-pigmentation can be used for everyone, whereas micro-blading is mostly applicable to people with brown or dark brown and black natural eyebrows and those who prefer to only fill their eyebrows for more volume.

The next question I was often asked was how long does it take micro-pigmentation to heal after the process, and what should be done to protect it after application. Micro-pigmentation is a painless process without any bleeding if applied using standard equipment. After a micro-pigmentation process, it’s very possible for you to go by your daily activity without any issue. You should avoid environmental factors that might infect the area of pigmentation. Do not apply ointment to the area of pigmentation unless you really need and use a sterile cotton swab to do it. Try to avoid water in the area as much as possible. It’s recommended to avoid it completely for three days. After this period, you will use the recommended ointment and other material recommended by the pigmentation artist until the next recovery cycle.

Some have said they have gone through the micro-pigmentation process on the face and now aren’t satisfied and want to remove the pigmentation. Keep in mind that you can remove the pigmentation in under one hour using organic material. Removing the pigmentation if more than one hour has passed since the application is not possible unless you wait for at least one month. You can then apply for removing your pigmentation.

Some people have asked about their pigmentation changing in color from dark brown to blue or gray after a while and want to know what they can do about it. Keep in mind that the pigmentation artist must be aware of the suitable color mixture for your skin. There are different skin colors and each requires a special color mix for example for darker skins, yellow skins, or white skins. We must always mix the colors depending on what the client wants concerning the natural type and color of their skin. Gray or purple color caused by micro-pigmentation should either be removed or if the quality of the work is still acceptable, you can choose a good color mixture and design on the same pattern to correct the color.

You had asked if micro-pigmentation can be done for women during pregnancy, or lactation and for people with diabetes. People with diabetes must have a certified description or recommendation by their doctor stating that there is no issue with this process. I won’t perform this process on people who are pregnant for less than three months. Since I work with organic material approved by authorities, I can still perform the process if pregnancy is past the first three months. If the material isn’t organic, you have to ask your doctor about the possibility of this process during the pregnancy months or ask you, pigmentation artist, if the process is possible at this time. Women who are lactating must wait until they are past six months of lactation. After this period, there’s no limitation for the process. Even before the first six months, the process is applicable under the condition that organic material is used.

Some have said their micro-pigmentation has faded after two weeks after application. You have to know that for micro-pigmentation there are three stages before the first recovery session. During the first week, the area is very bold. During the second week, it becomes somewhat faded and opaque. During the third week, the color comes back and the pigmentation becomes normal again. What you see during the third week should show you what your normal pigmentation would look like. After the third week, you can decide whether there are areas, you need to change or recover or if the design needs some changes.

A frequent question was whether the removal process will leave a red spot on the skin or not. After the removal, you will have a scar on the area during the first week. Later the scar will start to heal, the skin will peel off, and the skin will look red. Later the skin will start to look pink and after one to two months, the area will look more or less normal. After five to six months, the skin will be normal again. Using this organic material and removal method,
We can ever recover the burns and red spots caused by using lasers. This method not only doesn’t damage your hair follicles, but it can also enhance and improve them.
