Greetings. I’m Amirkhizi from Afagh clinic. Today I want to answer your questions regarding Micro-needling and Meso-needling.

Micro-needling which is sometimes referred to as Collagen Therapy Induction is the latest and least invasive method for tissue reconstruction and age reduction. If we want to explain the method in simple terms, I should say the machine has a single-use head that is changed after each procedure. Inside the head, there are a number of needles that penetrate the skin and affects the Epidermis using a mechanical system. The needles create micro-canals on the Epidermis layer and enable medication or nutrition to enter under the Epidermis layer. This needling process also stimulates the skin and help with collagen and elastin generation on the fibroblasts. As a result, the Epidermis will get thicker and this thickness makes the skin more resistant to sun rays, pollution and anything else that makes the skin vulnerable.

Even though during the process needles penetrate the Epidermis, the layer is not damaged and instead, only canals are created. If you have ever seen the process up close, you might have seen a small amount of blood on the skin which might look scary, but you must know that using anesthetics before the process, the patient will not feel any pain or discomfort. You might be asking who can use this process and what are the advantages. Micro-needling is very effective for closing open skin pores. It can close the pores completely and correctly. For people with spots or acne or stretch marks, it can fade them or make them disappear completely. It’s also very effective in treating wrinkles. Overall, it has a very wide range of applications.

We’ve received questions about whether there are requirements before the procedure and after. There are no special requirements pre-procedure. When you’re ready for the procedure the skin is cleaned and then anesthetics are applied to the skin and after the procedure, you should avoid direct sunlight for 48 hours. It’s OK if you’re exposed to sunlight, just avoid direct sunrays which can be dangerous. You should also use moisturizers and repair creams afterward. You should also keep in mind that the canals created on the Epidermis during the procedure would also oxygenate the skin. Therefore, this process is a great oxygen treatment as well. Oxygen treatment, however, is a vast subject that requires another discussion.

I hope I’ve succeeded in answering some of your questions. You can call us at the numbers in the description to reserve time or to join our classes at Afagh clinic. This concludes our tutorial. Until next time, goodbye.
