How To: Dye Hair Without Bleach

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to lighten your hair using triple zero dye without bleach.

Instructions:

Greetings. I’m Maryam Ebrahimpour. I’m a hair formula, makeup, and chignon expert and instructor. Today I’m here with a tutorial on working with formulas.

The dye technique we’re going to see today is especially for people who want to work with red color and their hair only bleached to a level 6 or 7. This is without using decoloring powders or cream. Most clients are uncomfortable when it comes to using decoloring powders and creams, and often rather sidestep this process. To achieve our goal, if we’re working on natural hair, we can use triple-zero dye. This will lighten your hair to a level 6 or 7 and rarely even 8.

Next, we can use red or sour cherry colors using a technique that can help increase the durability of the dye. I’ve mixed this triple zero hair dye with some nine percent oxidant. I’m going to apply it to this hair which is a natural hair without decoloring cream or powder. You can lighten a hair two or three degrees using triple zero dye if your hair is already at a level 6 or 7. What you see here is a level 5 or 6 it will become two or three degrees lighter with this technique,
We will then wash the hair and see the lightening result, then we will apply the red dye.

On natural hair, you can lighten your hair to a level 6 or 7 using triple zero dye. The hair we used the triple zero dye on is now lightened to a level 8. Before it was a level 5 or 6. As I said before, on natural hair, you can lighten your hair to a level 6 or 7 using triple zero dye. I’ve mixed red and sour cherry and salted it with some red powder as well. Since we don’t want our red to be too dark and instead give us a sour cherry color at the end, to help increase the durability and stability of this dye, I’ve used a small amount of red powder in this mixture as well.

I’ll rinse the hair and come back to show you the result. I’ve rinsed and dried the hair for you to see. If you apply this same dye on a level 6 or 7, you’ll get a darker red. On a level 8 hair, you’ll get a sour cherry color. You can apply your dye if your hair is already on a level 6 or 7. I used the triple zero dye to show you how much you can hope to lighten your hair with this dye. You can hope to lighten your natural hair up to level 6 or 7, or if the hair is already light enough, it will still lighten it two or three degrees.
